How to get Admission in Dehradun Military Academy

Firstly you have to fill the online registration form in which you are requested to fill in the proper and accurate details.
Then one of our counsellor will coordinate and will complete the registration process.

After the successfully completing the registration process, DMA will conduct the online test and after clearing the online test one of our senior admission counsellors will give the schedule for the Online Interview which will be taken by one of our Ex Armed forces officers. The pass-out students will call for the final admission at Dehradun Military Academy.

The fee structure for the NDA Foundation Course after 10th with schooling is ₹3,50,000/Year.

Note – 10% discount for Army personnel’s/Single Mother’s Child and the those students who scored more than 95% in their board examination.

The National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) of India to recruit candidates for the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA, as well as for the Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). Here’s a complete overview:

Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality
  • Must be a citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Bhutan or Nepal, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, intending to settle permanently, or
  • A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries intending to settle permanently in India.

Age Limit

  • Candidates must be aged 16.5 to 19.5 years.
  • Exact age limits depend on the NDA session (e.g., January or July intake).

Gender and Marital Status

  • Both male and female candidates are eligible.
  • Candidates must be unmarried.

Educational Qualifications

  • For Army Wing: Must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 (10+2) from a recognized board.
  • For Air Force and Naval Wings & INAC: Must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Physical Standards: Candidates must meet specific physical and medical standards set by the NDA.

Selection Process: The NDA selection process consists of two stages:

Written Examination: Conducted by UPSC.

  1. Exam Pattern:
    • Mathematics: 300 marks (120 questions, 2.5 marks each, negative marking of 0.83 per wrong answer).
    • General Ability Test (GAT): 600 marks (150 questions, 4 marks each, negative marking of 1.33 per wrong answer).
    • Total: 900 marks
    • Duration: 2.5 hours for each paper.
  2. SSB Interview
    • Conducted in two stages:
    • Stage 1: Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) Test and Picture Perception & Description Test (PP&DT).
    • Stage 2: Psychological Tests, Group Testing Officer Tasks, and Personal Interview.
    • Total: 900 marks
