- Passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Math and Physics at Class 10 + 2 and Graduation (minimum 3-year degree) in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent
OR - Get a minimum of 60% in the Aeronautical Society of India or the section A and B test of the Institution of Engineers’ Associate Membership from an accredited university.
OR - Get a BE/B Tech degree with at least 60% overall or the equivalent from an accredited university.
- Passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Math and Physics at Class 10 + 2 and Graduation (minimum 3-year degree) in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent
- Ground Duty (Technical) Branch
- Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) –
- Passed with minimum 50% marks in both Physics and Maths in Class 12th.
- Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) –
Graduation/Post Graduation in Engineering/ Technology from a recognized University.
Or
- Obtain a minimum or equivalent of 60% in the following disciplines to qualify in the Sections A and B examination of the Aeronautical Society of India, Associate Graduate Membership test of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, or Institution of Engineers (India)
- Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical)
- Minimum of 50% marks in each Physics and Math at Class 12th.
Graduation/Post-graduation in Engineering from recognized University.

- Associate Membership of the Institute of Engineers (India) through actual studies with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent in the following fields, as determined by the Aeronautical Society of India or Sections A and B examination.
